How to determine if it is plantar fasciitis?

How to determine if it is plantar fasciitis?

The following three points can help determine whether it is plantar fasciitis:

1、 Plantar pain is characterized by feeling plantar pain when walking, no pain or slight pain when resting, and increased pain when walking too much or exercising too much. It can also be manifested as increased heel pain when getting out of bed or getting off the ground after lying or sitting for a long time, and reduced pain after a little activity.

2、 There is obvious tenderness when touching and pressing the heel and the middle part of the plantar in front of it with your hand, and local fascia becomes tense and hard. From the appearance, there can be slight swelling at the sole of the foot, but the skin is not red or hot.

3、 The X-ray examination showed that there was no abnormality in the foot bone. Older people could have calcaneal spur. Those who had been ill for a long time or had severe inflammation could show hyperplasia, hypertrophy, edema and inflammation of the plantar fascia by foot ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging
